The AHQ Tour Update #1

We left this morning extremely early, Konrad came into my room and woke me up. I was up until 3:30am last night, so I wasn't about to wake up just because some stupid alarm was going off. We hit the road a little before 8 in our nice touring vehicle.

1991 Chevrolet Caprice Classic.

Konrad bought this car to take on the trip, he's going to sell it when we get back, so if you want to buy it you'd better let him know now. Check out his ad in the Auto Trader.

My view from the backseat.

Byran was on vacation with his family at Eagle Crest, so we stopped there to pick him up.

Eagle Crest.

We didn't have time to go golfing here.

We have stops in Idaho, Colorado, Montana, and Idaho again. Tonight we sing in Greenleaf, ID. As I type, we're almost there.

We sang last night at Greenleaf Friends Church, it was a good service and we met a lot of nice people. We are staying with Terry and Jan Hibbs, long-time friends with the Ron Krabill family.

Jan and Terry.

Ron was in Brazil with Terry for about a month earlier this year, helping him repair/maintain missionary aircraft. Terry has done a lot of aviation work on foreign mission fields.

After we got back from the church, two of their daughters (Jerrie and Kerrie) took us out to shoot "whistle pigs." Also known as ground squirrels and sage rats.

Today we're traveling to Konrad's brother John's place in Norwood, Colorado. We should get there sometime tonight.

A self-portrait of the editor.

This puppy may look innocent, but he's a bully. I caught him chewing on a little kitten.
